To celebrate the release of Azikazin Magic World’s first full-length album 《Memory Overdrive》, we would like to share the world setting and small records of 《Tra→Kids!》 over 12 episodes. Please enjoy #4 History of Dorephin.

The power that can only be gained by losing memories. Jujubee reaches ‘Memory Overdrive’ by consuming precious time spent with Tra→Kids!, and finally succeeds in defeating Seiren. As much as the memories have vanished, Jujubee’s heart is emptied, but Tra→Kids! welcomes Jujubee again like the first time with a bittersweet smile. A sad yet beautiful story of repetition, starting anew over the lost memories.

In the distant past, an enormous amount of garbage poured down from the sky here. To escape this rain of trash, people gathered in the steep crevices of the canyon, and buildings clung tightly along the sheer rock walls as if hanging from them. The village, layered again and again within narrow gaps, looked as though it had bloomed from stone, and thus came to be called 「Dorephin」.

The residents of Dorephin Village began salvaging garbage that had fallen into the sea or remained submerged for long periods. Restoring and modifying these items for sale became the village’s primary means of livelihood.

As time passed, the frequency of the mysterious garbage falling from the sky gradually decreased, and Dorephin Village, once confined between the canyon walls, slowly expanded its territory and developed into the city it is today. The driving force that allowed the village to grow despite such harsh conditions was none other than the 「Zonkie Bug」.

The 「Zonkie Bug」, easily found throughout Dorephin, emits a bluish, translucent glow. These bugs are drawn to things that look fun, and when they feel joy, they release 「Zonkie Energy」—a condensed form of life force. This mysterious energy is the core source that keeps the entire city of Dorephin alive and breathing.

To efficiently draw out this Zonkie Energy, the 「Zonkie Force」 was created. Designed to resemble a miniature amusement ride, it is meant to capture the attention of the Zonkie Bugs. As the bugs gather in search of fun, energy is naturally supplied from them, and the Zonkie Force units spread throughout the town complete Dorephin’s uniquely lively landscape.

However, creating a form that can constantly stimulate the Zonkie Bugs’ sense of fun while stably containing their energy is by no means easy. Producing Zonkie Force units suited to various situations throughout the town requires veteran-level skill. Even so, TraKids’ Uhkam demonstrates remarkable proficiency in crafting Zonkie Force units despite his young age.
