Announcement: Release of the Crazy DnB! performance featuring “END!”

Azikazin Magic World has unveiled the track “END!”—to be included in their first full-length album 《Memory Overdrive》, scheduled for release in January next year—through a new performance content titled Crazy DnB! In addition, they announced a distinctive music unit formed by beatmaker Lionclad and singer-songwriter Moogia, unique to Azikazin Magic World.

Crazy DnB! is a Drum and Bass–style performance series presented in Azikazin Magic World’s own aesthetic. For this installment, Crazy DnB!: “END!”, the Azikazin editorial team presents comments from musician Moogia, who participated in the production, along with commemorative photos from the shoot—so please take your time enjoying both the performance and the extras.

Stay tuned for more news about Azikazin Magic World’s upcoming debut album 《Memory Overdrive》, featuring “END!”, set for release this coming January.

Moogia

“END! is a piece of music that keeps imagining endings. There are many kinds of endings, but this song focuses especially on those that feel strangely empty. I sometimes find my mind completely filled with imagined events that will never actually happen, and I wanted to express that sense of confusion through music. Rather than portraying it as something dark or suffocating, I hoped it would feel more like a bright, bursting sense of euphoria.

Moogia

The lyric ‘Will you whisper the future again, like a lie, just like the first time?’ briefly calms the creeping anxiety and brings you back to a safe present, but ultimately acts as a trigger that fuels an emotional explosion. That’s why I felt it fit perfectly in the pre-chorus, just before the hook.

To complement this emotionally tangled music, I added playful chants like ‘Let’s go! Dance!’—delivered in a pure, joyful voice—as a contrast to the tragic lyrics. These chants are performed by none other than Tra→Kids!. To further unify the music and its world, we created their voices specifically and blended them into the track. You’ll be able to hear the voices of Tra→Kids! not only in END!, but throughout the upcoming album Memory Overdrive as well.

For the filming of Crazy DnB!: END!, I wanted to do more than just sing on stage, so I routed two channels from Lion’s MPC2500 into a Korg Electribe to apply effects. The Electribe’s FX are beautifully designed, and working with the XY pad was incredibly fun. Based on this performance setup, Lion and I plan to continue various activities together as an Azikazin Magic World music unit. Please look forward to what’s next.
